• Graduate in any discipline from any recognized University OR
• Diploma in Material Management or Diploma in Engineering in any Discipline from any recognized Institution.

• Posting areas are divided into Regions.
• The States which fall under these Regions are indicated against each Region.
• Candidates must select all Regions in order of preference of their choice for appointment, if selected.

1. Central West Region: MP, UP, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan
2. Central East Region: Sikkim, Jharkhand, West Bengal
3. Eastern Region: Assam, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh

5. South West Region: Rajasthan, Gujarat
6. Southern Region: Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamilnadu

• It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The test will include questions on analogies and differences, space visualization, problem solving analysis , judgement, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship, concepts, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc.

• Candidates understanding of the English Language and its correct usage, vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage etc. Her/his writing ability will also tested.

• The paper will include questions on problems relating to Number systems, Computation whole numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion , Averages, Interest, profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work etc.

• Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its applications to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected out of educated personnel.
• The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic, Scene, General polity including Indian Constitution and Scientific Research etc.

• The paper will consist of objective type-multiple choice questions only.
• The questions will be set both in English and Hindi, except General English & General Awareness.
• There will be provision of negative marking (0.25 marks for each wrong answer) in written test for incorrect answers..
• The written examination will consists of one objective type paper as shown below:-

• Male Candidates: 1.5 Km run in 6 mins and Carrying a weight 50 Kg to a distance of 200 Mtr in 100 sec.
• Female Candidates: 1.5 Km run in 8 Min 26 Sec and Carrying a weight 50 Kg to a distance of 200 Mtr in 3 min 45 Sec (130 Sec

• English Typing @35 w.p.m. on computer OR Hindi typing @30 w.p.m. on computer (35 words or 30 words per minute corresponding to 10500 / 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

• Dictation: 10 minutes @80 wpm
• Transcription: 50 minutes (Eng). 65 minutes (Hindi) (On computer).

• Height without shoes – 165 Cm. (A concession of 2.5 cms for ST Caste)
• Chest : 81.5 cms to 86 cms
• Weight : 50 Kg Minimum

• 1.6 Km Running for Male : 6 Min and for Female : 08 Min 26 Sec
• Carrying a person of 63.5 Kgs to a distance of 183 Meters within 95 Seconds.
• Clearing 2.7 Meters wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump).
• Climbing 3 Meters vertical rope using hands and feet.
