NEPA Recruitment 2022 Details

NEPA Recruitment 2022 Qualification 

MTS (Cook):

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
• Knowledge of preparation of dishes in kitchen of various messes with minimum two years’ experience in any catering establishment; and
• must have qualified in trade test.

MTS (Masalchi)

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.

MTS (Water Carrier):

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.

Pump Operator:

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
• Certificate in the mechanical trade or the electrical trade from a Govt. recognized institute;
• Two years’ practical experience in pump operating job in a Government or Commercial Organizations.

Electrician:

• Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board or equivalent; and
• Certificate in Electrical or Wireman trade from a Government recognized institute;
• Practical experience in execution and running and maintenance of different types of both high tension and low tension electrical installation including underground cables.
• Certificate of competency as Electrical Supervisor from a Central or State Licensing Board.

Plumber:

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
• Certificate in plumber trade from a Government recognized institute;
• Two years’ practical experience in plumbing job in a Government or Commercial Organizations.

Life Guard:

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
• Certificate in swimming from a recognized institute of sports; and
• Two years’ practical experience as Life Guard or Swimming job in a Government or Commercial Organization.

MTS (Sweeper):

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
• Knowledge of cleaning floors, rooms, Washrooms and general area with minimum two years’ experience; and
  must have qualified in trade test.

MTS (Syce):

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution.
• Knowledge of horse and stable management with minimum one-year experience in horse riding.

Constable (MT):

• Matriculation or 10th pass from a recognized Board and possessing valid driving license for light or heavy vehicles issued by the Transport Authority.
• Three years’ driving experience and
• Fair knowledge in Motor mechanism.

Constable (Motor Transport Mechanic):

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or University with
• Diploma in Motor Mechanism from a recognized institution; and
• should be possess a valid driving license of light or medium and heavy vehicles.
• Experience: Two years’ experience in vehicles repairs in some established / workshop.
• Must have qualified in trade test.

Constable (Band):

• Matriculation or 10th pass from a recognized Board and
• Experience of playing musical instruments such as Beguile or Side drum.

Constable (GD):

• Matriculation from a recognized Board or University.

• • Venue for Direct Recruitment: North Eastern Police Academy, Umsaw, Distt – Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya Pin – 793123
  • Written examination will be held for all posts.
  • The standard of the question will commensurate with the knowledge expected from a class 10th Pass candidate.
  • There will be no negative marking.
  • The question paper will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi.
  • The written examination will be of 100 marks containing 100 questions consisting objective type questions to be answered using a blue ball point pen.
  • Exam Duration: 02 Hours (120 Minutes).
  • The composition of the question will be as follows:

NEPA Recruitment 2022 Syllabus

General English:

• Candidates’ understanding of the basics of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc.

General Reasoning:

• It would include questions of non-verbal type. The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc.

Knowledge of Elementary Mathematics:

• This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and work etc.

General Awareness/ General Knowledge:

• Question will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Question will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person.
• The test will also include question relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution and Scientific Research etc.
