NPCIL Vacancy Details

NPCIL Qualification 

Scientific Assistant/C – (Safety Supervisor):

• Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. (Minimum 50% marks in Diploma in Engineering/B.Sc.) and
• One-year Diploma/Certificate in Industrial Safety and
• Candidate should have 4 years of relevant experience after obtaining requisite qualification.

Scientific Assistant/B – Diploma:

• Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Civil Engineering. (The Diploma in Engineering should be of three years’ duration after SSC / HSC.) OR
• Two years Diploma through lateral entry to 2nd year after HSC approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks in Civil Engineering.
• Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examination.

Stipendiary Trainees / Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Diploma:

• Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical or Electronics Engineering. (The Diploma in Engineering should be of three years’ duration after SSC / HSC.) OR
• Two years Diploma through lateral entry to 2nd year after HSC approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical or Electronics Engineering.
• Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examination.

Stipendiary Trainees / Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) (Category-I) – Graduate:

• B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc. shall be with Physics as principal and Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Chemistry as principal and Physics / Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage.
• Mathematics at H.S.C. (10+2) level is essential.
• Shall have English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examinations.

Stipendiary Trainees / Technician(ST/TN) (Category-II) – Plant Operator:

• HSC (10+2) or ISC in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Subjects) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.

Stipendiary Trainees / Technician(ST/TN) (Category-II)- Maintainer:

• SSC with minimum 50% marks in Science Subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate course in Fitter / Electrician / Electronics / Instrumentation / Welder / Machinist / AC Mechanic / Turner trades.
• For trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 2 years, the candidates should have at least one-year relevant working experience after completion of the course
• Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.

Nurse-A:

• XII Standard and Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (3 years course) + Valid Registration as Nurse from Central/State Nursing Council in India. OR
• B.Sc. (Nursing) OR
• With 3 years’ experience in Hospital OR Nursing Assistant Class III & above from Armed Forces.

Pharmacist/B:

• HSC (10+2) + 2 years’ diploma in Pharmacy + 3 months training in Pharmacy + registration as a Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council.
• The date of registration as Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council should be on or before the closing date of online submission of application.

Steno Grade-1:

• Any Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution.
• A speed of 80 words per minute in English Stenography.
• A speed of 40 words per minute in English typing on PC.
• Preference will be given to those candidates who possess knowledge of Hindi typing / Hindi Stenography
• Computer Proficiency Test
• Candidates should have passed a Certificate Course of duration of not less than 6 months on MS-Windows Operating System and Desktop Applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), e-mail Management and Internet Surfing.

Assistant Grade-1:

• Any Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution.
• Typewriting Test: A speed of 30 words per Minute in English typing on PC.
• Computer Proficiency Test
• Candidates should have passed a Certificate Course of duration of not less than 6 months on MS-Windows Operating System and Desktop Applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), e-mail Management and Internet Surfing.

NPCIL Selection Process

Stipendiary Trainees / Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II) – Plant Operator:

• Written Examination (Preliminary Test + Advanced Test).
• The written examination will be OMR based or Computer Based Test (CBT)

Stipendiary Trainees / Technician (ST/TN) (Category-II) – Maintainer:

• Written Examination (Preliminary Test + Advanced Test) + Skill Test
• The written examination will be OMR based or Computer Based Test (CBT)

Nurse / Steno / Assistant / Pharmacist:

• Written Examination (Preliminary Test + Advanced Test) + Skill Test
• The written examination will be OMR based or Computer Based Test (CBT)

For Other Post:

• Written Examination + Personal Interview
• The written examination will be OMR based or Computer Based Test (CBT)

How To Apply NPCIL Online From 2022

• The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the NPCIL website between 06.12.2022 and 05.01.2023.
• Applications will be received on-line only.
• Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
• E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily.
• The last date for submitting on-line application is 05.01.2023
